Known internationally as The Bobot, Бобот та енергія Всесвіту is a Ukrainian family science-fiction film about a twelve-year-old dreamer drawn into a conflict between two alien civilizations alongside a transformer box called Bobot. From autumn 2016 to summer 2017, the production included a stage shoot inside a pavilion at the O. Dovzhenko National Film Studio in Kyiv; mental dRive studio, the production company, was filming there. According to Ukrainian Wikipedia, computer-generated imagery makes up more than half of the finished film, produced by around 100 specialists working in Ukraine; the production coverage found does not name any international VFX vendor. The film premiered in Ukraine on 30 August 2018 through distributor UFD. Chumak worked as a matte paint artist on the film.
