Pixomondo's environment work on See spanned mountain and wilderness landscapes and the show's collapsed post-modern world; Chumak contributed as a digital matte painter on the Pixomondo team.

See is a post-apocalyptic drama series that ran on Apple TV+ from 2019 to 2022, created by Steven Knight and starring Jason Momoa, set in a far future where humanity has lost the sense of sight. Pixomondo was one of the visual-effects vendors across its run, handling previs and environment work including the rock-wall avalanche sequence in the pilot episode. The studio's Season One team was nominated by the Visual Effects Society for outstanding supporting visual effects in a photoreal episode.

How the environments were made

See is set six centuries after a virus left the surviving population blind, so the production had to build a world that would look abandoned by sighted people and reclaimed by nature. Shooting for the third and final season took place across Toronto and Ontario, and battle sequences were filmed in disused quarries outside Toronto and in a decades-old car graveyard in Acton. There, trees had swallowed the vehicles, and the crew used that graveyard as a location they could not have built from scratch. The production used a hangar at Pearson International Airport as a stage for interior work, where it built a blue screen set for later compositing. On the visual effects side, El Ranchito, the Spanish studio, worked on environments for four of the season's eight episodes, extending and aging what the production could not shoot practically. Chumak received credit as a digital matte painter from Pixomondo for work on the season.
