Daredevil: Born Again
The Folks VFX work on the season sat inside the fights rather than behind them: the Task Force staging area, the basement where Daredevil and Fisk meet, and the armory battle, with environment destruction, debris continuity and digital prop replacements holding those spaces together as they came apart. Chumak contributed as a senior matte painter with Folks VFX, credited on the second season.
Daredevil: Born Again is the Marvel Studios series for Disney+, with Dario Scardapane as showrunner, whose second season reached screens in 2026. Visual effects ran under production VFX supervisor Gong Myung Lee with producer Fahed Alhabib, on a brief of keeping the work invisible, grounded and physically plausible. The season was split by strength across vendors: The Third Floor on previs and postvis, Eyeline on the large-scale boat and water sequences, Storm Studios on fight integration, Wylie Co. on the Episode 3 oner, Folks VFX on Episode 6 under VFX supervisor Phil Prates, and Important Looking Pirates on the Episode 8 climax.
