How the environments were made

Warpath: Showdown is a live-action promotional short made for Warpath, Lilith Games' World War II themed mobile game, and it was produced by the Ukrainian studio Postmodern Digital, part of FILM.UA Group. One aim was to show coordinated combat among different army branches, such as infantry, vehicles and air forces. Before filming began, the team spent two months on digital previsualization to settle the creative concept. Production then built two large scale sets, a battlefield and a ruined city, and used an original Soviet T-34 tank alongside a replica German Tiger tank for the seven day shoot in Ukraine. Following the shoot, the studio devoted five months to visual effects to finish the project, within a total of eight months from idea to delivery. About 200 people contributed to the project. Chumak was a matte painter on Warpath: Showdown.
