Greenland 2: Migration
The environment work covered the ruined, post-comet world: devastated cityscapes, altered terrain and the migration routes the survivors cross. Chumak contributed as a digital matte painter on the environment effort.
Greenland 2: Migration is the disaster sequel directed by Ric Roman Waugh, released in January 2026, following a family's survival in the aftermath of a comet strike. The visual effects were shared across Pixomondo, Alchemy 24, Hybride and Crafty Apes, under production VFX supervisor Marc Massicotte. Between 400 and 500 shots were built over four to five months, much of it post-impact landscapes and large-scale destruction.
